Running on Empty Isnt Your Calling

Even the Proverbs 31 Woman Had Some Downtime!

Let’s face it, moms often put themselves last on their to-do list. There’s food to prepare, kids to chauffeur, dirty clothes to wash, shopping to do—there just doesn’t seem to be enough time for moms to breathe and relax.

But when moms take care of themselves too, they have more energy, more clarity, more joy, and more peace for their families.

In Running on Empty Isn’t Your Calling, Tricia Goyer and Alice Crider offer practical ways for moms to nurture their souls, enhance their well-being, and relieve stress without neglecting their children. They provide some simple ways to flourish while showing mothers that prioritizing themselves is a necessary, easy, and fun way to become healthy role models for their families.

With humor and real-life stories, Tricia and Alice help moms learn how to treat their bodies like a temple of the Holy Spirit rather than a worn-out robot. They cover everything from physical fitness and nutrition to soul care and friendships, offering a complete spa-like adventure for mothers everywhere.
