Milestones: Volume 6 - Family Community & World

What did God intend when He created the family? How should families operate according to God’s design??What does it look like for a family to be living on mission with Jesus?

Design is apparent all over the Universe. We see it in the cosmic conditions necessary to sustain life and the microscopic biological systems within living animals. We witness design in institutions God has created, such as marriage and the family. Despite ways culture tries to remake marriage and family to be more reflective of modern values and beliefs, those institutions and the people within them are at their happiest and have a greater sense of fulfillment and purpose when they operate according to God’s design. But what is that purpose? 

In Volume 6 of Milestones, we explore questions surrounding the family, community and world as reveled in Scripture. Over the course of eight sessions, students will:

• uncover key theological truths about family, community and world.
• unpack why those truths are important.
• discover ways to engage their community and culture in light of them.

It is our hope that by going through this volume, students will grow in their personal knowledge and understanding of God’s design and purpose for the family, as well as the mission He has called us to. We also hope God will use this study to equip another generation to boldly proclaim the truth about who Jesus is and the message of hope He has provided through the gospel to a world that desperately needs it.
