Whether it's an idea you can't shake, a business you've been dreaming of, a movement that has the potential to impact people, or a family that will leave a legacy, it can be intimidating to follow God's promptings. While most of us are familiar with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the fulfillment of God's promises to these patriarchs could never have happened without the matriarchs--Sarah, Rebekah, Leah, and Rachel. These women remained brave as they traversed unknown lands, hopeful as they petitioned God for children, and so very human as they schemed and despaired that they might not fulfill their purposes.
