Get A Life!

Get a Life! You may have heard that expression, but in this book you are invited to truly discover and experience life through the powerful blessings Jesus offers in his Beatitudes. You may be surprised at where and how you will discover those blessings. Too often we desire to avoid the deeper places of life. Jesus invites us to open a door to receive blessing. Come and explore the pathway of blessing through opening yourself to: *realize your need of God’s grace as you hunger and thirst for righteousness *be surprised to discover that meekness is actually strength *in accepting the pain of loss, receive comfort *even encounter joy in the midst of opposition and persecution Get a Life! As you explore the eight Beatitudes and begin to live out the blessings, your life will be enriched. As you journey with Jesus on his pathway, you will indeed, “Get a Life!” About the Author: Ted Creen is a minister of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Currently he is serving as Director of a creative summer ministry, Huron Feathers, at Sauble Beach, Ontario. As a writer, Ted has previously published Moving Mountains (or at least managing them) in 2002. He has written numerous hymns and songs such as Lead Me Jesus which is included in the current Presbyterian Book of Praise. Ted is married to Lorraine and they reside in Owen Sound, Ontario. They have one daughter, Sarah, who is married and lives in the USA.
