Discover the Depth and Breadth and Height of Prayer!
When you study the development of prayer over time you discover more than just the power of divine communication. You notice a marked acceleration of prayer in the modern age. As God does nothing without reason, this increased activity indicates He has something powerful and purposeful to say. We know Heaven Hears. The question becomes, are we listening?
Throughout human history, God has provided words and concepts to describe how we communicate with Him. We have boiled these down to one English word: prayer. But is this singular word an adequate way to express how we speak to the immortal, invisible Creator of the universe? Scripture uses dozens of words, across thousands of years, in a linguistic path that tells an incredible, unfolding story of Gods ever-deepening conversation with His children.
